<div itemprop="description">Richard passed away in St. Paul&rsquo;s Hospital on April 3, 2016 at the age of 75, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his beloved sons and grandsons, Leslie, and Tyson (Sheila, mother);Robin (Cindy), and Brett, and Colin (Rose). He will also be remembered fondly by brothers, Don (Kathy), Gordon (Linda), Robert (Jan) and sister Joyce (Dale) Hill, nine nephews and nieces as well as extended family. He will be missed by many special friends, especially Lani Roberts (mother of his children), Loraleigh Garner, and the Minor family. Richard was predeceased by his parents Philip and Emma Anweiler and grandson Derrick Anweiler. Richard was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and uncle. He was very proud of his sons, keeping many items marking their birth, and their achievements and successes over the years. He was always the voice of reason, giving gentle guidance and direction to his boys. He found humour in all kinds of circumstances, taking great pride in whatever job he was working at, especially his hobby (repairing small equipment), whistling through all his tasks. He cared for various animals over his lifetime, and enjoyed curling for over forty years. He worked for Bannister Construction, Ward Johnson Electric, Autotec and the Saskatoon Public School Board. Please join the family for a celebration of this beautiful man&rsquo;s life on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St. first right past Briargate Rd). In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard&rsquo;s memory may be made to the Sask. Cancer Association (1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3) or a charity of the donors choice.
