<div itemprop="description">Having lived a good, full life Mabel passed away peacefully in her 97th year at Extendicare Preston, Saskatoon. Mabel spent fifty memorable years in Dodsland before moving to Saskatoon. Mabel was predeceased by her husband Oscar of 54 years, her parents John and Mary Ronneberg, her sisters Anna Morton and Bergit Manley. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Grace (Norm) Skrudland; three sons John (Jeanette) Boquist; Keith (Lorna) Boquist and Dwayne (Darlene) Boquist; sister Siggie Johnson; brother-in-law Terry Manley; cousins Gladys McDougall and Dwain Weese and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mabel was also loved by her 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mabel was blessed with the music gene. She was an inspiration and shared her talents every moment dancing, singing and playing the spoons. Her love of music lives on today through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Lani Roberts from Home Instead, Arbor Villa Care Home and the staff at Extendicare Preston for their compassionate care given to our Mom throughout her residence there and most recently in her time of need. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Extendicare Preston (2225 Preston Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7J 2E7). A Celebration of Mabel’s life will be held on Saturday June 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at St Martin’s United Church (2617 Clarence Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK). Wally Markewich in care of arrangements.</div>
