<div itemprop="description">The family of Heather Lynn Ball (née Blondeau) are deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the age of 62 years. Heather was born on May 13, 1954 in Regina, Saskatchewan. <br><br>Heather is survived by her loving husband David Ball and her children Curtis (Kahlea) and Ashley. She will be forever remembered by her sisters and brother Georgina (Dave) Doell, Linda (Jack) Hendrickx, Darwin (Linda) Blondeau, Beverly (Jim) Schultz, Brenda (Don) Zadorozniak, Kimberley (Wade) Reddekopp and her in-laws Doug (Joanne) Ball , Gerry (Renee) Ball, Jim (Mary) Ball, Nancy (Randy) Dorflinger. <br><br>She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her family cat Cacahuate. She was predeceased by her mother Lorraine Yantz; father-in-law Vernon (Bubs) Ball; mother-in-law Joan Ball; nephew Kevin Doell; and great nephew Emerson Olain. <br><br>Heather fulfilled a successful career working in the Microbiology Laboratory in Saskatoon at the Royal University Hospital for 31 years before retiring in 2005. She was an avid fan of Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Celine Dion. Her love of baseball was evident as she played for the Ball and Sons Brats for 28 years. Horseshoes was another favorite sport of hers as she always seemed to win. Heather enjoyed summers spent at Murray Lake with family and friends. All the kids loved the time Heather spent driving the boat as they tubed and skied. Heather and Dave loved to travel with family and friends and cherished the special memories.Heather was a quiet, loving and caring wife, mother, sister and aunt and she was extremely excited to become a Grandma in June. She will always live in the hearts of her family and friends. May the memories of the past guide us through our time of sadness. <br><br>In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Heather’s name may be made to the SPCA are greatly appreciated (5028 Clarence Ave. Grasswood SK. S7T 1A7). <br><br>A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St, first right past Briargate Rd).</div>
