<div itemprop="description">Piercy, Alexander William passed away of heart failure on January 12, 2017. Alex was born on March 30, 1993. He attended elementary school at Greystone Heights in Saskatoon. He attended high school at Walter Murray Collegiate and Evan Hardy Collegiate in Saskatoon. Alex was predeceased by his grandparents Ron and Lillian Piercy, and Great-Grandmother Sadie Black. Alex is survived by his parents Bonnie Piercy (Brian McAlaster); Bruce Piercy; grandparents Audrey and Graham Ritchie; special Aunt Wendy Elliott; Uncle Larry Elliott; cousins Christopher Elliott and Daughter Alana; Amber Elliott (Joe Forrest) and children Austin, Jacob, and Addison; Adam Elliott (Bonnie) and children Graham and Blake; Uncle Brian Anderson (Cecilia) and their children Jeffery Anderson and daughter Jaiden, Candice Anderson, Megan Anderson, Jennifer Huard (Steve) and sons Steve and Jordan; Uncle Jim Anderson (Linda) and their children Rob Anderson and son Kyle, Darren Anderson (Amanda) and children Dominic, Alyvia, Kristen, Cameron, Liam; Colin Anderson and son Carson; Aunt Christine (Bill) Davern. Alex loved his family, his friends, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed rap music and had some pretty funky dance steps. He also loved animals and his special friend Coon. He enjoyed plants and growing them himself. He and his friend Brad recently formed a music company, which he was very proud of. He was very funny and charismatic and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street; first right past Briargate Road). Memorial donations in Alex’s honour may be made directly to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be emailed to the family at www.hillcrestmemorial.ca.
