<div itemprop="description"> <p> It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rose, our dear mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. &nbsp;&nbsp;Rose passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on March 4, 2013.&nbsp; She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack and daughter Judy Sneddon.&nbsp; Survived by daughters Joanne Zerr, Dorothy (Ron) Ehrman, Donna (Dave) Skene, and son-in-law Al Sneddon; grandchildren Brian (Terry) Gutenberg, Carrie (Rob) Osmak , Jackie Gutenberg, Melissa (Dustin) Meikle, Aubrey (Ang) Mitchell, Evan (Mary) Mitchell, Megan Skene, Andy (Lori) Sneddon, Ian (Kim) Sneddon and 13 great grandchildren.&nbsp; Rose was born in 1927 in Vanguard, Saskatchewan and married Jack in 1951.&nbsp; She worked for 25 years at Sears in Saskatoon.&nbsp; Rose enjoyed her many volunteer hours with CWL, her bridge card games with her close friends and her passion for gardening and canning.&nbsp; Her dedication to raising her family provided many treasured memories as she shared her favorite times including camping, creating beautiful crafts and keepsakes and sharing her love of music through playing guitar and accordion.&nbsp; Rose always had an abundance of love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren which has created lasting memories for each of them and will be cherished forever.&nbsp; The Vigil for Rose will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. both at St. Mary&rsquo;s Roman Catholic Church (211 Avenue O South, Saskatoon, Sask.) with Fr. Steve Morrisey, CSsR Celebrant. &nbsp;Rite of Committal will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (301, 2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK&nbsp; S4P 3X1).&nbsp; Online condolences may be sent from www.hillcrestmemorial.ca&nbsp; Arrangements entrusted to Megan Kasper. </p> </div>
