<div itemprop="description">KUNKEL, Mary (nee Kutziuk) <br> <br>Mary passed away peacefully October 21, 2016 in Saskatoon, SK. Mary was born August 1, 1928 at Birmingham, SK and grew up on a farm in the Peace River district of Alberta near High Prairie. She married Curt Kunkel May 23, 1959. <br> <br>Mary was predeceased by her parents, Nykola and Anastasia Kutziuk (Kuchuk); brothers Alex, Bill and Peter; sister Olga; daughter-in-law Dixie Harker; and granddaughter, Rhonda Johnson. <br> <br>Left to mourn are her sister Katie Rygus; brother John Kuchuk; husband Curt; son Dennis (Arda) Harker; granddaughter Debbie; great-grandchildren Ryan, Shane and Kasie; granddaughter (Rhonda); great-grandchildren Layton, Tanner and Tyler; son Garry Harker; grandson Troy Harker; granddaughter Tessa (Allan) Carrouthers; great-grandchildren Dixie and Roslyn; daughter Diane (Ron) Junop; grandson Barry (Sarah)Junop; great-grandchildren Rachel and Natalie; grandson Byron (Courtney) Junop; great-grandchild Olivia; grandson Randy (Amy) Junop; great-grandchildren Makayla, Jailla and Corbin; son Ron (MaryAnne) Kunkel; granddaughter Kari; great-grandchildren Karlyn, Rayana and Chandler; grandson Kris; great-grandchildren Jack and Grant; grandson Harrison and grandson Spencer (Alora); and many other relatives and friends. <br> <br>While raising a family on a farm near Esterhazy, Mary enjoyed tending to the large yard and planting all types of trees and flowers. Later, Mary moved to Saskatoon continuing her love for her flowers and enjoying her view of the river. Mary enjoyed the spring and summer seasons for nature’s new growth but really loved going for a ride in the country during the fall to watch the trees turn their vibrant colors. <br> <br>A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street, first right past Briargate Road).</div>
