Audrey spent many years taking care of her family, and her interests revolved around her children's activities and later her grandchildren. Audrey battled her illness with courage and strength that amazed everyone around her. The strength of this woman was incredible and family meant everything to her. Audrey was a dependable woman who was always just a phone call away. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and would tell anyone who would listen. Audrey enjoyed reading, bowling, bingo, and a variety of puzzles. She loved to have fun and joke around, and appreciated simple things in life. Anytime was a good time for shopping. She will be greatly missed every day. A Memorial Service for Audrey will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St., first right past Briargate Rd) with interment and a reception to follow.
