Dick was predeceased by his parents; Walter & Nora; Shirley’s parents Edward & Clara Bender. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Shirley “The love of his Life” of 60 years; children Cheryl (Kevin), Lynne, Brenda (Chris); grandchildren; Mark, Karrie (Scott), Melissa (Nick), Kaylee (Shaun) and Bobby; great-grandchildren Liam and Sophie. Dick was a devoted member of the SaskTel Pioneers, Computers for Schools and the Elks. A Memorial Service for Richard “Dick” will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home on Thursday August 4, 2016 at 11:00 am. Donation may be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic (20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon S7N 4H4) or the Alzheimer’s Association of Saskatchewan (1405 Faulkner Cres. Saskatoon S7L 3R5). Arrangements in care of Samantha Cheal and Wally Markewich.</div>
