<div itemprop="description">It is with sorrow in our hearts for our loss, and rejoicing for our Mother that she has been released from pain and confusion, that we announce the passing of Mary Margaret Mann, née Fisher. Mary was born on the family farm near Ardath SK, on November 3, 1923 and passed at Porteous Lodge, Saskatoon, May 19, 2016, at the age of 92, with family at her side. Mary joins her husband George, who predeceased her October 3, 2015. Mary is survived by their children: Cathy (Dan) Campbell (Saskatoon), Frank (Regina) and Lorna Tyrie (Ralph Hicke) (Moose Jaw). Also surviving her are grandchildren and their families: Chris and Melissa Deitz, Jacob, Sophia, Gabrielle (Estevan); Michelle and Dwayne Onufreychuk, Eli, Luke (Saskatoon); Christine Tyrie and Kevin Martin, Cyric, Drea (Edmonton); Douglas and Aimee Tyrie, Joaquin, Keegan, Everett (Moose Jaw); step-granddaughter Danielle Campbell and Greg Gudmundson, Bobbie, Alec, Maisie (Saskatoon) and step-grandson Chris Campbell (Saskatoon). Also surviving Mary are her sisters: Hazel Kidd, Shirley Fisher, and Myrna (Cliff) Johnson. Mary was predeceased by her parents Elgin and Rhoda Fisher, twin sister Beth (Dick) Holderness, sister Edna (Ken) Duce, brothers Bobbie and baby boy Fisher, and brother-in-law Allan Kidd. She is also predeceased by all of George’s family: parents Jim & Robena (Tarr); sister Verna (Everett) Harbottle; twin brothers Allen and Alvin Mann; sister Jessie (Sandy) Watson (Alwyn Stevens). Mary is also mourned by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held Monday, May 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home(east on 8th St, first right past Briargate Rd). Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (#101 – 440 2nd Ave. N. Saskatoon, SK S7K 2C3) or a charity of your choice.
