<div itemprop="description">Joseph Wooff will be remembered lovingly by his family and friends after passing away December 18, 2014 at his home in Saskatoon at the age of 81 years. Joe will be deeply missed by his children; daughter, Paula Wooff and her children Amanda Wapass-Griffin (Ryan) and Tanya Dawson (Josh) and their daughter Myla; daughter, Heather Osborne (Nolan); son, Dean Wooff (Joni) and their children Tyler and Kyle; daughter, Valerie Hardy (Warren) and their children Jackson and Ryder; as well as many other relatives and friends. Joe was born in the Spruce Lake area in 1932, the eldest child of Norman and Anna (Larson) Wooff. He grew up on the family farm and received his schooling at Emmaville. Joe began farming at an early age, which became his lifelong passion and joy. Joe met Marjorie while she was teaching school at Spruce Lake and they married in 1958, making their home near Turtleford where they farmed and raised four children. Joe was a loving husband and father, and was known by all for his generosity and kindness. As the years passed, his family grew and he was blessed with six grandchildren and one great grandchild, whom he shared many special and joyful times with. Marjorie and Joe moved to their home in Saskatoon in 1994 with Joe and Dean continuing to farm at Turtleford and Aberdeen until the present time as Joe had no thoughts of retiring. He enjoyed the challenges and physical activity of farming and loved operating farm equipment, growing crops and putting in a day of hard work. Joe was known in the community for his integrity and honesty. His faith in God was evident to all as through the years he continued to respectfully shut down his farming activities on Sundays. Although Joe was known to be quiet in public, he enjoyed long conversations with friends and family regarding farming and current events. He had a cheerful and positive outlook on life and valued family time at the celebration of special occasions and time spent at the lake in the summers. Joe was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Marjorie in 2013, parents, Norman and Anna (Larson) Wooff; brother Vallance; sister-in-law Peggy, brother-in-law, Lee and his wife, Jean; brothers-in-law, Willard and Lennard; as well as Marjorie&rsquo;s parents, Henry and Dorothy (Gregory) deGraaf, and step-mother Lois (Brundage) deGraaf. Joe is survived by his brothers Harvey Wooff (Christa), Winston Wooff (Roberta), Ernest Wooff (Lucille), Henry Wooff (Shirley); sisters Wilma Morin and Margaret Wooff, sister-in-law, Loretta as well as Marjorie&rsquo;s brother, Henry de Graaf (Marlene); sisters, Minnie Halverson, June Heath, Dorothy Wouters (Larry), Alida Hunter (Dale), Shirley Huber (Fred), and Linda Woychyshyn (Mel) and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service for Joe will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street, first right past Briargate Road) with a public visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society of Canada or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences may be sent from www.hillcrestmemorial.ca. Arrangements entrusted to Paula Olson.</div>
