<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that the family of Gordon Nickason announces his sudden passing on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the age of 66 years. Gordon was born in Rosetown, SK, and raised on a farm near Wiseton, SK, along with his sister Earla. Gordon&rsquo;s parents, Earle and Janet, along with Gordon and Earla moved to Saskatoon in 1958. Gordon married Agnes Block in 1969 and they had two sons, Curtis and Cory. He managed service stations in Regina and Saskatoon and farmed part time at Wiseton until 1988 when he returned to farming full time. Gordon married Betty-Rae Fribance in 1999 and quit actively farming in 2002. They continued to live on the farm until recently. Gordon enjoyed classic cars and spending winters down south. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Curtis and Cory (Lorie) and their children, Brock and Jake; wife, Betty; step children, Ritchard (Karen), Robert and Lana-Rae (Adrian); step grandchildren, Lucas, Ashton, Heather, Angela and Lindsay; sister Earla (Fred) Hillis; nieces Karen (Marcel), Debra (Dale) and Kelly Dawn (Adan) as well as other relatives and friends. Memorial donations in Gordon&rsquo;s name may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association (1231-8th St. E. Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5). A Celebration of Gordon&rsquo;s Life will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St., first right past Briargate Rd).
