<div itemprop="description">&nbsp; <p> Gladys May Johnson passed away at the age of 93 on November 1, 2012.&nbsp; She was predeceased by her parents; husband Vern; brother Melvin and sister Edna; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and great nephews.&nbsp; Gladys is survived by her loving daughter Lynn Sandin and her children Tyler, Brett, and Justen and Lynn&rsquo;s special friend Darin Trendocher; son Dale (Brenda) and their children Richelle and Kellie; four great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law Doris Bonnell, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.&nbsp; Gladys was born August 19, 1919 and grew up in Hawarden.&nbsp; There she met Vern, and they were married on April 5, 1944 in Hanley where they raised 2 children and farmed for many years.&nbsp; They moved to Saskatoon where Gladys worked as a daycare provider and also for Pinders Drugs. </p> <p> She loved all the time spent with family and friends, especially her grandsons.&nbsp; She cherished all the time she spent with them and getting to know their girlfriends, Andrea and Jenika.&nbsp; Gladys and Justen spent hours together playing Uno.&nbsp; She was the best mom anyone could ask for and always put everyone else first. She lived her last years at Luther Heights where she had many friends that she would spend time with.&nbsp; A special thank you to the staff of Luther Heights, who provided Mom with excellent care and were ready to help with all her needs.&nbsp; She will be greatly missed by her family.&nbsp; The funeral service will be held Monday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (1215 McKercher Drive) with a public visitation at 9:30 a.m.&nbsp; Online condolences may be sent from www.hillcrestmemorial.ca&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Arrangements entrusted to Sten Olesen. </p> </div>
