It is with great sadness the family announce the peaceful passing of Audrey Russell, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, at Royal University Hospital on April 22, 2017 at the age of 80 years. She was born to parents, Gordon and Jane Elliot, on December 18, 1936 in North Battleford.
Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Ron; son, David (Jacquie) and their children, Brittnee (Jacob), Clark (Jessica), Hannah (Sean) and Jackson; son, Gerry (Tammy) and their children Derek (Samantha) and Lindsey; sister, Gwen (Lyle); sister-in-law, Darlene; brother-in-law, Stan; Ron’s siblings, Jim (Sandra) and Penny (Ken); and Ron’s sister-in-law, Marg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Charlie, Rollie and Eveline and Ron’s brother, Allan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St; first right after Briargate Rd).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Audrey’s honour may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
