<div itemprop="description">Alan (Grant) Botham passed away peacefully on October 20, 2016 at RUH, beloved husband of Leona (Lee) Botham of Saskatoon. He will also be lovingly remembered by: sister and brother-in-law Betty Anne and Bert Ayers, sister-in-law Ruth Botham, as well as many nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Grant was predeceased by his parents Art and Petra Botham, brothers Chester (Wilda) Botham and Harvey Botham. Grant was born in Birch Hills and completed his schooling there. He was a Veteran of WWII. Upon returning as a Veteran he attended the University of Saskatchewan to complete a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Grant went on to complete a 34 year career with the Government of Canada in Public Service. Grant married the love of his life Leona (Lee) Suchan in 1953 and they continued a loving relationship for 63 years. <br> <br>Upon retirement, Grant spent his summers as an avid golfer at the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club and in the winter as a curler at the Nutana Curling Club. In both venues he achieved many recognitions. <br> <br>A Celebration of Grant’s Life will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home.</div>
